Enough of the pilgrims already. It’s time to move on to the good stuff, and much of that is what happened in the 20th century. Let’s face it. If you start with the pilgrims every time, you never get past the Civil War.
Therefore this course will explore the monopoly rules of the nation (our Constitution), the war to end all wars (WWI), the war of the greatest generation (WWII), and the battlefield of the Cold War (Vietnam). There will also be a sprinkling of domestic affairs, such as the Stock Market Crash of 1929, the Great Depression, the conformity of the 50s, and the protests of the 60s.
