There is a big difference between politics and governing.

Politics--scheming, plotting, and manipulating to get into power and keep it.

Governing--Once in power, creating public policies for the good of your constituents.

Unfortunately, these two things often get muddled. Politicians can’t seem to take off their political hat in order to put on their policy hat.  They are too worried about their next election, and that often drives the policy decisions they make.

This course will enable you to have a clearer understanding of when our elected leaders are engaging in one or the other!
