Physical Science 400

Introduction

This class is a self-directed program which fulfills 0.5 credits in science. Physical Science 400 deals with Chemistry and the make-up of all matter. As you work through this course you will find a relationship between elements and how they react with each other. You will become aware of how the periodic table was composed. Any time during this class you feel confused about the instructions feel free to reach me at bhill@lcsd.k12.wa.us.

The course will be broken up into 12 lessons and must be completed in order on account that the preceding lessons build on each other. You will have 4 months from the time you register to complete this semesters class and then you will receive credit from LaCenter High School. Make sure you have or can get all of the required items before you begin. Once you start the course there will be NO REFUNDS.

You will need the following items to take this course:

1. PC or Power Mac Computer

2. Access to the Internet (home or school)

3. Email account

4. Illustrated Chemistry Dictionary as a text - This will be sent after registration

5. Chem Lab Program - This will be emailed after registration

6. A word processing program ( preferred "Word 98" or before)
