THEME: UPDATING PORTFOLIO AND RATIONALES

 

 


LESSON GOALS:           

·         Help students update portfolios and write rationales.

 

ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS:     

·         Is your portfolio up to date?

 

MATERIALS NEEDED:

 

 

CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES:

 

1. Discuss portfolios.  Remind students that this is an important part of their culminating project and is a graduation requirement.  Their portfolio will be a major component of the SLC.

2. Discuss work samples and rationales.  Discuss with students the appropriate work samples to place into portfolio.  Also, go over the rationale questions and answer any questions students may have.

3. Work time.  Students should take the rest of the period to write rationales.  Teachers, please walk around and help students complete the task.
