• Help students update portfolios.
• Write rationales.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

• Portfolios
• Work Samples
• Rationale templates.

CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES:

1. Discuss portfolios. Remind students that this is an important part of their culminating project and is a graduation requirement. Their portfolio will be a major component of the SLC.

2. Discuss work samples and rationales. Discuss the kinds of work that should be included in the portfolio and how to answer questions on the rationale. Remind students to be reflective about their work.

3. Student work time. Give students time to work on writing rationales and updating portfolios. Teachers please walk around and help students complete their rationales.

STUDENT PRODUCTS:

• Updated portfolios. Add work samples and rationales to portfolios.
