Phase III - The La Center School Board Formally Approves
Request for Bond Special Election
The La Center school board passed a bond resolution at a Februry 12, 2008 Special Meeting to put a $32 million construction bond before voters on May 20, 2008. If passed, the bond will pay for building a second elementary school on the district's Bolen Road property; construct athletic facilities (stadium/auxilliary gym) at the high school; purchase land for future growth and relocate a bus parking facility offsite of the K-8 campus.
