PE Uniforms
Next year all middle school students will be
required to wear PE uniforms for gym class. The basic
package which includes 1 pair of shorts and 2 t-shirts is
$20. Sweat shirts and sweat pants are also available. Please
feel free to mail your orders in over the summer. Uniforms
will be distributed during the first week of P.E. next
year.
Looking Ahead
If your student plans to participate in football,
volleyball or cross-country next year, athletic packets are
available at the district office over the summer. Since
these sports begin before school starts, please be sure you
have a completed athletic packet turned into the office
prior to the August 25 start date.

Summer School Info
Summer School registration forms are available in the
office or at the district office. The dates are Monday, July
7, through Thursday, August 14. Classes are Monday through
Thursday only. Math will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and
Language from 10 a.m. to noon. The previous year's
curriculum will be reviewed in order to prepare for the
Accountability Test which will be given on Monday, August
18. The cost for summer school is $150 per subject.
Registration forms and payment can be sent to the district
office.
Accountability Test
If your student will be taking the Accountability Test
in August, please notify the office by e-mail @
jrichards@lcsd.k12.wa.us or leave a message on the phone at
263-2136. The test will be given on one day only and that
date is August 18, beginning at 8 a.m.
Community Library Hours
The hours for our community library are Monday,
Wednesday, Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday 11
a.m. to 8 p.m.
Connect Ed Notification System
LCSD has adopted the Connect Ed Notification System to
let you know of any emergencies, school delays and other
important information. Please be sure to keep the office
updated on any changes in your contact numbers.
