Welcome to the La Center School District Website
The LCHS Project Study class meets with WDFW's Jim Byrne and Les Greear with Fish First at Brezee Creek near the Stonecreek Housing Development. They work together to add fish eggs to the RSI (Remote Site Incubator) with hopes to replenish the salmon run to the East Fork of the Lewis River.

New Graduation Requirements for the Class of 2013

New graduation requirements will be in force for the class of 2013 (this fall's incoming freshman). The district policies describing these new graduation requirements are 2410 and 2410P. (Click here for a visual graphic that represents the multiple pathways students may choose or click here for a quick overview of the old requirements, the new options and some of the specifics all on one page.) All of the three pathways lead to the same La Center High School diploma, yet the pathway students select is tailored to more specifically prepare them to meet the demands of their chosen post-secondary learning opportunities. A fourth pathway (general studies) will be used for students not attending all four years in La Center.
